Being right at the top of Fremont Street makes it easy to walk along the whole stretch, and getting in and out is simple. Parking is free for guests, and the walk from the car to the room is shorter than at most big casino hotels I’ve stayed in. That’s a big plus since I’m in the area for business often. Check-in is also one of the easiest processes I’ve come across at a large Strip casino. The rooms are quite nice and updated, too. This is a great hotel and probably my favorite on the Strip.

We’re not high rollers, and we still feel comfortable playing slots or trying the simpler games at Circa. The gaming floor has a fun energy, and you can find something to play without needing a whole strategy session. When we’re wandering the wonderfully chaotic Fremont Street Experience and need a break from the lights, music, and sensory overload, Circa Resort & Casino is our usual reset. Inside it’s lively, but calmer than the street, with a modern, polished feel aimed at adults. The casino staff, from cocktail servers to floor staff, have always been friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We’ve found plenty of well-made drinks, too. And the restrooms are consistently spotless and well maintained, which feels like a small luxury in the middle of Fremont Street. It’s become a regular stop for us, and we’ll keep it in our Fremont routine.

I came for a work seminar at Circa, and my employer booked the room. I was surprised that I was personally responsible for paying the balance, even though the reservation was backed by our company card. People coming for work events should be told about that during booking. The room, with a Stadium Swim view, was nice and the water pressure was amazing. There wasn’t an in-room microwave, so I had to throw away my leftovers from Triple 7 Microbrewery. The hotel looked great, and compared with other casinos we visited, Circa was top notch for cleanliness, from the bathrooms to the spacious gaming floor and security.

The presidential suite looks out over the Mojave Wasteland, with sunsets, neon lights, and a faint hint of chaos. Room service is slow, though. I’ve apparently been waiting 200 years, but the staff is very committed to the mysterious tech overlord theme. Mr. House is devoted to service, too. He literally refuses to die so your stay stays comfortable. The Securitrons make security feel impeccable, if a little judgmental, scanning you for weapons before blackjack. It’s clean, has good blackjack odds unless you anger the house, and works well for negotiating New Vegas’s future. No pool, and there’s a slight risk of political manipulation. Five stars. For luxury, security, and a little existential dread, I’d gamble humanity’s future here again.

Circa was a memorable place to stay, and I highly recommend it. We enjoyed meals at several restaurants: Saginaws had a delicious club sandwich, Victory Burger served juicy burgers, and 8 East had good brisket fried rice. We also went up to Legacy Club for rooftop cocktails, with lots of lovely spots for couples or groups to enjoy the night and the views of Las Vegas. The hotel opens right onto Fremont Street, and a short walk down it took us to a fun zipline. I love that the property is for guests 21 and up, with staff checking IDs at every entrance and exit. Everyone we met was very nice and attentive. Stadium Swim is a lovely pool area where you can watch sports on a big screen while swimming.
