Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Beaufort @ Highway 21

Manager Debbie was an absolute delight, so sweet and welcoming. The other woman, who had braids, was rude to us and our family. We were here for a Marines boot camp graduation, and the location wasn't too far away. The room was huge, as was the bathroom, and it had a microwave, mini fridge, safe, and hairdryer. The bed was big and comfortable, though very high, which may be difficult for kids or older adults with mobility issues. For the price, I felt they cut corners. The shower had almost no pressure, so it took three times as long and I barely got my hair washed. We were short on towels, had no hand towel, and staff were rude when we asked for more. The toilet paper was worse than what I've had at a gas station. The carpet was filthy; my socks got dirty just from walking on it, worse than I've ever experienced at a hotel. The most concerning part was our family members' late checkout request. They returned to their room only about an hour after regular checkout and found two men looking through their things. Their beer had been drunk too, and no one had even called before entering.

We booked this at the last minute because of scheduling, and it was a God send. The staff were amazing, the room was clean, and everything was awesome. I'll use this Hotel every time I'm down here for work. Great experience, thank you Boundary rd Beaufort SC Holiday Inn.

Charles, Joel, Sandy & Katie were so helpful, and the staff were kind throughout. We were surprised by the service and delicious food. The butterfly breaded shrimp appetizer was the best shrimp I've ever had, dare I say, even after traveling all over the U. S. We'll definitely be back.

The regular tub had hair in it too, and the jacuzzi room smelled like mold and funk. There was hair and gunk in the hot tub, and its bottom was discolored black, which shouldn't be the case if it's cleaned after each stay. I asked to downgrade because I was traveling alone, knew there were rooms available, and just wanted a clean room for less money. Instead I got an upgrade and a breakfast voucher, neither of which I needed. I appreciate the woman trying to do something, even though it wasn't what I asked for.
