Hampton Inn Bellevue

The breakfast was nice, and the woman looking after that area was amazing. The rest of the stay was a letdown. No one told us the pool was unavailable, and our poorly maintained room had mold in the shower and wallpaper peeling off the walls. We asked for towels, waited 45 minutes, then had to leave, and didn’t get them until that night. When I requested a blow dryer, it was shoved into the back of a cubby. They didn’t clean the room, just left towels. At checkout, the women at the desk were busy training and short with us. I usually choose Hampton Inn for work trips, but this personal stay wasn’t good. I’ll find somewhere else when I visit my son again.

The hot breakfast and delicious coffee were much appreciated. Our rooms were comfortable and quiet, the staff were friendly, and the parking lot was well lit. The pool and hot tub were closed for what was supposedly renovation, but that was only mentioned on a cheesy sign at the check-in counter.

I used to stay here once or twice a year, but never again. When I reserved a room for one night in September, I told them we’d have a Miniature Poodle with us. No one mentioned a pet fee during the booking or check-in, and there was no fee mentioned when they handed me an extra paper to sign while we unloaded. After we got to the room and were ready for bed, I got an alert that my car alarm was going off. I checked, and the car was okay. An hour and a half later, another alert showed a $75.00 pet-friendly charge. Then the alarm went off again. The hotel clerk told me to move the car to the front, where guests load and unload, for safety. I barely slept. In the morning, they didn’t care when I raised it. Breakfast was just so-so, and the beds could be a lot more comfortable. This doesn’t feel pet friendly or like a safe place for a vehicle.

The nicest Hampton Inn staff I’ve experienced, and the cleaning staff did an amazing job. The rooms were nice, with no complaints, and I’ll stay again on future business trips. I chose it because it was equally close to the airport and my work, in a quiet area with nearby amenities that wasn’t crowded. I highly recommend it for those reasons and the staff.
