Comfort Inn Bellingham

The room was clean, though it looked like an older room that had been refreshed some time ago, and that update is starting to show its age. Service could have been a little more solid. The hot tub was out of order, and so was the sauna. We could still swim, but after snowboarding, a hot soak or sauna would have been nice. Breakfast was okay, though there was more available at 6am than at 8:30. It seemed like the same eggs both times, and as 9am got closer, choices ran low: the eggs were old, there were only a couple pieces of sausage, and the waffle mix had run out. This is within my price range, so I know there are tradeoffs. I was happy enough for what it was and would stay again with the same expectations.

The back area was handy for my dog, and everyone was sweet and welcoming to her. The front desk lady was also extremely helpful, bringing a shower chair to my room when I was hurting. I stayed one night before driving back to Eastern Washington. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the price was great. I know where I’ll stay next time I’m in town.

I needed somewhere at the last minute while passing through town. The room was comfortable and clean, and the rate was very reasonable: $85 with everything included. Breakfast was the usual hotel kind, but it filled me up and saved me spending $15 somewhere else.

Mj was a great host, kind and friendly, and took time to explain the hotel and its amenities. It seems like a good choice for a comfortable night that won’t cost too much. I’m looking forward to breakfast in the morning.
