Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Chicago O'Hare South, IL

The sheets and towels were clean, but that was about the only positive. The partly remodeled property was inconsistent in March 2026: some rooms looked updated, while others still seemed shabby and dated. It felt like a patchwork renovation, and the room you get makes a big difference (see photos). Check-in was frustrating. The clerk wouldn't honor the reservation, handled it unprofessionally, and gave misleading information about the refund. It came across as deliberate deception, not just confusion. The front desk staff seemed poorly trained and unfamiliar with basic hospitality. Accessibility was another serious concern. If you need ADA-related understanding or accommodation, I wouldn't stay here. The staff showed little awareness or sensitivity about access needs, which is unacceptable in a hotel. While I waited in the lobby, several other guests were also complaining about their stays and how problems had been handled. Unless you're only looking for the cheapest room and expect very little, I'd avoid this place. Other hotels offer better service and basic respect for guests.

The remodel seems well planned, and once more improvements are finished, we may consider staying again. On this visit, though, our room felt poorly maintained. The furniture was damaged, dirty or stained, and in rough shape. The old mattress was lumpy and its springs didn't give much support. A strong smell of cheap cleaner also made it hard for us to sleep well. The staff were polite and worked with us when weather disrupted our flight schedule.

We had a lot of fun in the warm pool and hot tub, especially with it freezing outside. The free airport shuttle was handy, and shops and food are close by. It's a basic hotel, with friendly workers and a simple breakfast they didn't even have to include. For what I paid, that suited me just fine. I wasn't expecting a five-star Hilton inn resort. It was lovely, thanks. We'll be back! 🙏

I loved how spacious my room was. The place was clean and quiet, so I actually got some rest, and the prices are affordable. Friendly staff too. I'd definitely recommend it for your next stay.
