The bed was comfortable, and we slept well, so the stay was still good. The staff were really friendly. A shower light burned out the first night; I mentioned it at the desk, and it had been replaced while we were out the next day. We never got hot or even warm water from the bathroom sink, though I forgot to report that.

The room was nicely set up, and breakfast was pretty good for a place at this price. We saved a few bucks and miles staying here, so it was fine value. The sink pressure was lousy, and the shower only worked better when nobody nearby was showering. There was also a ticking sound inside the wall. The bed was harder than mine at home, maybe even harder than the floor. The hot tub was out of order.

I’m 80, more than 200 miles from home, and basic things like hot water and air conditioning shouldn’t be this hard. Around 1 a.m. last night, the AC started making a loud, high-pitched noise and woke me. I reported it, but nothing could be done, so I turned it off and borrowed a fan. This evening there was no hot water. We waited 30 minutes and were still told to see if a warm shower might be possible later. The desk wouldn’t move us to a first-floor room, call management, or open another room so we could shower. We don’t want to move because of mobility issues. We prepaid for four nights and still have two left. I’m beyond disappointed. This is the worst hotel experience I’ve had, and this chain won’t get another dime from me.

The price was great, and breakfast was wonderful. The pool and Jacuzzi were both clean, as was the rest of the place. There are lots of lighting options, so it’s easy to get the room feeling just right.

Third stay, 11-25-25. Room 425 was called an executive suite, though it felt small to medium, not especially suite-like. There was a full-size fridge, a firm mattress, good WiFi, decent AC, and the room was clean. The sink pressure was weak, as other reviews mentioned. At least the pool and hot tub were working this time. It was the cheapest of my three stays, still over $100, and a dependable place to stay. On my second visit, 9-2-25, I paid $115 after taxes with my Choice rewards. Room 224 was clean and a decent size, with a kitchen and full-size fridge. The pillows were tiny and the towels thin and cheap. The pool and hot tub were still down. For a hotel over $100, I’d expect a little more quality in the rooms. On my first stay, I thought Sam Walton must be pushing prices up, because this didn’t feel like a $130 hotel. The room was clean, a bit larger than normal, quiet, and had no bugs. The front desk was easy to deal with, though I’d booked ahead. Being in town gives the place an upscale image, but it wasn’t fancy. The pool was out of order then too, for who knows how long. Inside was clean; outside, the parking area needed mowing and cigarette butts picked up. There were more butts than leaves. Breakfast was standard, and there was a tip jar despite the basic, inexpensive food. Bentonville and nearby towns were mostly over $100, seemingly because of a couple of cool things the area offers.
