Easton Hall

It’s a quiet, clean, pleasant place, with everything you might need in Berkeley close by. The lobby is small but works as a place to work. Room equipment is sparse, and it’s surprisingly hard to find a staff member. For the price, it doesn’t meet the standard I expected.

The yard and foyer are really nice, and the room was quite clean. It’s also ideally located for visitors to the University of California. But the beds were terrible, and since there’s no front desk, I had to call to get housekeeping or other help. For what it costs, the stay didn’t meet my expectations.

The event I hosted here was a huge success. The venue is beautiful, in a convenient East Bay location with easy access and parking, and very close to campus. Staff were helpful and communicative from booking and planning through the event and the follow-up afterward.

It’s a lovely old building and a quiet spot for a good night’s sleep. Downtown Berkeley is a fair walk away, and getting there means walking uphill, but the climb is worth it.
