We enjoyed our three nights at Hillside Villa in the Cameo Rose Room on the second floor, and the location was convenient, close to town but far enough away to avoid traffic noise. Leon called on our first day with the details and said he was available 24/7 if we needed anything. Check-in and checkout were easy. The room and bathroom were clean, the view was amazing, and the balcony had rocking chairs where we could sit and enjoy it. We used the fire pit, and the firm mattress was pretty comfortable. The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. A couple of things could be better. The wall air conditioner was loud when it switched on and kept me up. There’s no breakfast, though we knew that in advance. The property doesn’t allow pets, but one couple below us had a small dog. The guest binder said to leave a card on the door for room service, but there wasn’t one when we needed towels. We could have called Leon, but didn’t feel comfortable calling just for towels. If we could get a room with a quieter air conditioner, we’d definitely stay again.

We spent Christmas 2025 here and would definitely recommend it. Leon was an awesome host, and Allison and her crew did a fantastic job keeping everything clean and paying attention to the small details.

It’s set in Amish countryside, yet very close to town and other sights, so the location is lovely. The property was nicely arranged and well cared for, and our room was beautiful and clean. We thought the accommodations were fantastic and would happily stay again.

We loved Hillside and are planning to return next summer. My husband and I shared the place with six other couples, and everyone was very pleased. The rooms were attractive, spacious, comfortable, clean, and delivered everything promised and more. There were plenty of porch and balcony seats for enjoying the countryside, plus a fire pit and gazebo with more places to relax and take in the scenery. Inside, the breakfast bar was stocked with Keurig pods, mugs, and glasses, and there was a complimentary case of water in the fridge. The kitchen was very well equipped, including blenders and crock pots. The beds were comfortable, the walls kept other people’s conversation from carrying, and the blinds blocked the sun. We could also set the temperature in our own bedroom.

A lovely, relaxing weekend spot for a couple celebrating any occasion. The building and setting are beautiful, and our room was clean. I could’ve used a couple more pillows. There wasn’t breakfast, but there’s lots of good food nearby. We’ll be back in summer.
