Hilton Garden Inn Biloxi

Hilton Garden Inn Biloxi is convenient for a Biloxi visit, close to casinos and restaurants, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I gave it plenty of five-star ratings, but the wine price was hard to accept. We bought a bottle of Sutter Home Chardonnay, a third-shelf option that usually costs about $12 to $15 in liquor stores. Hilton charged $34. Fair? No. Price gouging? Yes.

The oceanfront setting was one of the best parts. A warm Gulf breeze came right off the water, and the clean pool had big, comfy patio chairs. The lobby was modern and tidy too. Kimberley checked us in, found us a great room with a beautiful sunset and ocean view, and was friendly, professional, and helpful, especially since it was my first time in Biloxi. She even provided a razor and shaving cream when I packed light. The bathroom had plenty of good-quality amenities. And those pillows, OMG. Huge, soft, and squishy, just perfect. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get up. I'll definitely come back as soon as I can.

My family and I have stayed here twice, and Kimberly at the Hilton front desk has taken great care of us both times. She's consistently pleasant and helpful, and goes above and beyond to make sure we're comfortable and have what we need. She's a real gem, and I hope she's compensated for her great work. We'll be back.

We checked in Thursday, but by Saturday nothing had been cleaned. There were no fresh sheets, and we had to go downstairs to get our own towels. The $13.95 breakfast buffet was a waste of time, with cold food. They said they couldn't cook anything else, even though they were making breakfast for somebody else. What a shame that housekeeping couldn't be bothered to clean the room.
