Jubilee Inn

You get what you pay for. Safety and cleanliness are my priorities. I eventually felt safe after meeting several guests, but cleanliness was another matter. The room smelled of cheap air freshener. The bathtub was stained, the toilet flushed wonkily, and the towels were dingy and old. I tried to keep my dog off the floor. There was no light above the room's only mirror and no coffee. The bathroom door wouldn't close, and the entrance door was really hard to shut. The AC worked okay and the bed was comfortable, but the sheets were thin and getting those little pill bumps, and the fitted bottom sheet wouldn't stay put. There was a cigarette hole in the comforter. Parking was a challenge, with guests blocking spaces using chairs and cones. Trucks with trailers were parked along the curb behind the cars, making it hard to back out. The parking area was more like a narrow alley. This is really a motel, not a hotel. I will NEVER stay at Jubilee Inn again.

The beach is just across the street, and the rooms have a mini fridge and microwave. We come here when we're going to gamble, and the staff are friendly without bothering you. The shower pressure is so strong, you get a message while you're in there.

Everyone on staff was great, and the beds were really comfortable. The room was clean, though the hotel itself is older and the painted bathtub was peeling. We stayed Tuesday through Sunday, and housekeeping came in on Saturday saying we were supposed to have checked out. The front desk sorted it out and said it was their mistake. The pool was closed for some reason.

I slept really well, and the room was clean, including the bathroom, beds, and microwave. I didn't see any bugs. Some of you reviewers seem pretty picky or ungrateful. The service was good, and the rooms are decent, so yes, you can book here.
