Green Tree Lodge

The owners are hands down the best, such sweet and helpful people. They responded really quickly whenever we needed anything. Our first visit to Eureka was a memorable weekend, and the cute cabin was in a very convenient location and a good price. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay, and we’ll definitely come back. I wish I could give the place and owners more than five stars.

I spent a week here during the infamous snow and ice storm of Jan. 2023, and it was a wonderful place to ride out the weather. I had spacious spot number 2, tucked among the forest, with beautiful snowy paths. The small campground was close to town, affordable in a notoriously pricey place, and packed with amenities. I loved walking the trail around the grounds with my dog every day, and the Wi-Fi was incredibly strong, which I need for remote work. The host, Derrick, couldn’t have been kinder or more accommodating. With only two campers there that week, he turned on the heat and hot water in the bathrooms just for me and kept the walking trails cleared of snow. We chatted a bit, and he suggested some hiking trails. In my opinion, the owners should give him a raise ASAP. He goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. It was a true winter wonderland. Don’t think twice, book this place now!

Rob in management really looked after us and was flexible and helpful with what we needed. The park itself is tidy and peaceful, with a nice pool and great laundry facilities. I did see an old negative review and was glad Green Tree keeps the riffraff at bay. We had a wonderful stay and will be back. Keep up the good work!

We arrived to find our original campground couldn't handle the size of our trailer, so we had to make a quick change. Green Tree had one large site left and got us in right away. It had full hookups, and the little honor-system camp store also had a washer and dryer. We liked the pool and the outdoor game room, and my kids were happy to have free WiFi for downloading movies for the ride home.
