The room worked well for us, though the kitchen didn't have a stove. Staff were great, and the location is nice with skiing right out the back door. The lodge itself feels shabby and could use a refresh: chipped paint along the halls, a hole by the elevator buttons, and a hallway sign patched up with tape and Sharpie. The lobby was a little dark, too. Getting luggage carts through the front doors was awkward since they don't open automatically or stay propped open, and the carts are beat up.

Convenient for golf and biking, with a lot to do indoors too. There’s a large game room where people played bags and ladderball, plus an arcade with older games like Ms. PacMan for just a quarter. I liked the downstairs restaurant, and you can get free ice if you ask. My room had a thermostat for the A/C and an Auto fan setting, which made it easier to sleep with the fan noise. The full kitchen helped me stick to my diet since I brought food. The rooms were very nice. I skipped the pool and exercise room. I was there to golf, so I joked about not being able to watch the Golf Channel at night because it was restricted.

It was a quiet, dog-friendly hotel and a very nice place to stay. While we were there, the restaurants were closed, and the fitness center's hours were limited to 9am-10pm.

The views are phenomenal, the atmosphere is great, and I loved having a kitchenette. My only gripe was the firm bed in my room. After downhill mountain biking and hiking all day, I would've liked a softer mattress.
