Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Minneapolis North/Blaine

It’s been a week and I still don’t know what I was charged. I travel for business and need a receipt, but getting one here has taken four hours so far. I never received the usual email, the View Bill link under Activity does nothing, and my request through Contact Us got nowhere. I called the front desk after waiting on hold for 20 minutes, then called again 40 minutes ago and I’m still on hold. I checked the website again while waiting and there’s still no bill. I liked the hotel and the hot tub, but I probably won’t stay here again. I may switch to a brand that makes it possible to claim a business expense in a reasonable amount of time.

We came for USA Cup and had a great experience. The hotel is used to sports events, so breakfast was ready and there was extra cleaning. We could enjoy the pool, hot tub, and other areas whenever we wanted. There were plenty of breakfast options, and we could walk to the fields. The rooms were clean, the service was great, and the bed was very comfortable. We didn’t hear noise from other rooms or the street, so we slept well. We’ll definitely be back next year.

The location was great, and the service was good. The rooms were clean, though the TV and the room style felt old. My only real complaint is parking: if you have a car, it costs $10 a day, on top of the hotel stay.

The room and bathroom were really nice and very clean, probably because the place is new. There are groceries and lots of restaurants nearby, and the location is convenient. This will definitely be my new favorite place to stay when I visit Minneapolis.
