Embassy Suites by Hilton Minneapolis Airport

When I'm in St Paul and need a hotel, this is where I stay. Shannon and her team make the place welcoming, from Jose during managers' social hour to the room service staff. My room has been clean, and the front desk is always there to handle requests and make things easy.

Trying to arrange a room from Michigan around midnight for an employee who rarely travels was incredibly stressful. Embassy Suites and Hilton Cedar Rapids made the whole situation manageable, and I’m grateful for how they helped. His Minneapolis to Cedar Rapids flight was canceled at the last minute, but he only found out after landing in Minneapolis around 11 p.m. Delta offered no proactive help with lodging or nearby hotels, and there were very few staff around to ask. The one person he reached said the airport hotel was booked. I called the Hilton airport hotel myself and learned they weren't fully booked, but their shuttle had stopped running. Thankfully, a Hilton representative found another Hilton property with a shuttle still operating. Embassy Suites got my employee a room, then called him personally to explain where to meet the airport shuttle. He was picked up within 10 minutes and was safely on his way. I also had to cancel his original Cedar Rapids reservation, and Hilton Cedar Rapids handled that quickly, professionally, and with understanding.

The staff were friendly and attentive, and the airport shuttles came often and on time. The drivers were polite and happy to help with doors and luggage. I've stayed at this Hilton twice for work in five weeks. Its location made getting to and from the airport and rental cars easy, with leisure options nearby when I had time. The self service snack area, after hours weight room, and large restaurant were useful too.

I spent two great weeks here, and honestly, the restaurant wait staff were some of the best people ever. Abi at the front desk was incredible, and Jose may be one of the best bartenders I've met. Thanks to Shannon for keeping things running so well. One of the friendliest, nicest hotels I've stayed at.
