The building is gorgeous and the food is great, but the staff experience was poor from check-in through checkout. The woman at the front desk, Edwina..?, wasn't welcoming when I asked about room availability. Her quote was double the online price, and she seemed annoyed that we might book another way. She was just nasty for no reason. If you hate your job, quit. Then, while I was showering before checkout, a porter knocked once, opened my unit before it was time to leave, and told me to put up the do not disturb sign so they wouldn't enter. I was in the shower. That shouldn't be necessary before 11. We may come back when we visit again, and I hope the experience is much better.

It was my first visit and I loved it. Everyone I came across was friendly and helpful. At valet, someone was already bringing a luggage cart, and the woman there was very nice. Check-in was quick, and a really sweet guy brought our bags to the room. The casino floor and machines were clean, with lots of tables and machines. There were people walking around cleaning all the time. I didn't go into the PBR Cowboy bar. The beds were comfortable, and we only waited a short time for the car the next morning. I'd definitely stay again.

For our anniversary, my wife and I had a great meal at the prime, with excellent food, drinks, and ambiance. The casino was nice, but I couldn't get free drinks at the bar while playing video poker. We left for other casinos where the service was better. This wasn't what I expect from a casino, so I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Save your money and try one of the other casino hotels nearby. My stay was terrible. The room was hot and muggy when we arrived, even though the AC was set to 67° and the room read 79°. I called downstairs, then went out for a couple of hours, but it was still 79° when we got back. The hotel was sold out, so we couldn't switch rooms. Maintenance came after 1 a.m. and reset the system, bringing it down to 72°. I travel with a fan, which helped, but by 7:45 the next morning it had climbed back to 77° and was rising. I managed to reset it the way maintenance had and slept until checkout. The blackjack tables were a mess. One dealer seemed bored or just waking up, had no personality, and couldn't follow simple conversation, so I chose another table. When the next dealer came on break, he made mistake after mistake and acted self-righteous. He hadn't burned a card after sitting down, delaying the game while it was sorted out. After drawing five cards, he reset the count to 12. The table said "12" while he took a long time to do simple math, and he told us it was his job to count and say what the cards read. He shorted new players a chip by putting a spacer in their stack and needed to be told. Several people also had to point out unpaid side bets, my winning hands paid incorrectly, and a blackjack paid at 6to5. This went on for about 20 minutes while he was the breaker. Another dealer didn't notice both cards were face up until it was time to flip the bottom card. She also repeatedly miscounted hands, calling an ace and a number card a face card and number, so an ace and 6 was called "16." The blackjack table's shuffler was broken too. It seemed to happen with the red deck or every other shoe, and each fix took over 10 minutes. After the same process for the third time, I'd had enough and went to the slots. The slots were decent, and I hit a feature in several places, but nothing spectacular.
