Courtyard by Marriott Boston Logan Airport

We loved the clam chowder, and the loaded nachos were great too. The food at the Hotel Restaurant is delicious, especially the fried chicken, which we ordered twice. Debby was our waiter and gave us incredible, thoughtful service. When we said the chicken tasted off, she quickly brought out a freshly cooked order. Great atmosphere, food, and service.

My room was clean and had nice bedding, and it looks like the hotel was updated recently. The staff were extremely nice, and I’d definitely return. There’s free coffee and tea in the morning, plus flavored water during the day. I stayed in room 1006 and was pleasantly surprised by partial views of Boston local airport, including planes departing and starting their takeoff. Rooms 1006 to 1020, the even-numbered ones, all have this view. I think maybe the ninth floor has a good one too, and certainly floors 11 and 12 in the A Tower.

I’ve stayed here at least four times, and everyone seems to enjoy their work. The restaurant food is so good, especially the black and blue burger. I wish the food at my local Comfort Inn in Spokane was this good. The women who run the bar and restaurant have been here on every visit. They’re fun, nice, and helpful. The woman at the front desk with the super long nails is so friendly and great. The airport shuttle picks you up at the airport or rental car center, and the bus drivers are really nice too.

We spent a long weekend at the Courtyard Marriott - Logan Airport in late October. The friendly reception team, clean comfortable rooms, on-site Mini Market, fitness room and restaurant were all good. The restaurant food was great, and the shuttle to and from Logan Airport was excellent. There were several problems as well. The bathtub had little to no adhesive, which felt dangerous, and one of the two elevators was out of order. We were told it had been out for months, and the waits were long. Restaurant service was poor: empty glasses stayed empty, we couldn’t get our check, and staff seemed to be rushing us out even though the place was nearly empty. One night, housekeeping forgot our room. They didn’t speak English, so it was hard to explain that we had no soap, and we had to communicate through reception. The rooms are small, though that didn’t matter much since we were mainly visiting family and doing a little sightseeing. Keep in mind that East Boston isn’t near much, with no nearby shops or attractions, and taxis from there are expensive.
