I’d stay here again, though I hope the next room doesn’t have the same outlet problem. The room was nice overall, but a dresser drawer was broken and one of its rails had come loose. The switches for the outlets were confusing: three controlled separate outlets, with one apparently affecting only part of an outlet, while another shut off all the lights. I couldn’t power the alarm clock without also turning on a very bright nightlight, so in the end I switched everything off. The wallpaper looked like children’s drawings of objects, and the room photos showed people dressed as bushes. Quirky, to say the least. Parking takes some figuring out. There’s a paid underground garage, or you can look for free street parking. Sometimes the street spaces were full, and I didn’t want to walk 2-3 blocks back, so I paid to park in the garage. The common areas were well kept, with a roomy main space and swinging chairs, plus a large courtyard with several firepits. The workout room was decent, although it’s on the fourth floor in an odd spot among guest rooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location beside a nice shopping center and close to downtown Boulder was convenient.

The room had elegant décor and breathtaking views, and felt both comfortable and sophisticated. From arrival onward, the staff treated me with real care and professionalism. This luxury hotel surpassed every expectation and felt wonderfully indulgent.

I was in room 445 for a few nights on a business trip last month, and I wouldn’t choose this hotel again. The shower and sink water stayed lukewarm, even after running it for 20 minutes. When the heater came on, the fan started making an oscillating noise. Breakfast was plain, and the host seemed to expect guests to already know how the buffet worked. She was rude and belittling to a few people who came in. I told staff about the problems in my room as I was leaving, but I don’t know whether anything was done.

The firepit and outdoor lounge were a fantastic spot to gather, and I also liked the fitness center. Parking was a little confusing at first, but having Diamond priority parking right by the elevator was appreciated. The location was great and breakfast tasted good. Unfortunately, the restaurant and happy hour weren’t open during our stay.

The breakfast staff were especially friendly, and the hotel is well placed for restaurants and shops. As a Diamond member, I had my requests accommodated without any trouble. The room itself didn’t feel comfortable enough for what it cost. The HVAC was so loud that it interrupted my sleep, and the pillows were much too soft for my preference while the linen felt rough. I wasn’t able to get fully rested.
