For three days, using the bathroom meant going down four floors to the lobby. Our toilet only worked for one flush after someone plunged it, and repeated reports to the front desk brought no fix. They said maintenance would be called, but there were no rooms available when we asked to move. One employee offered to transfer us to a sister hotel, then another said he shouldn't have made that offer. On the third day I was in tears, begging to change rooms. They finally agreed, but gave us just 30 minutes to move everything. No one apologized until I asked for part of the stay to be refunded. The broken toilet made the room hard to use, and I'm still considering disputing the charges. The room was dirty too: grime and hair in the bathroom corners, filthy walls, and carpet that needed cleaning. Breakfast was another problem. One day it started late, so my husband missed a meal. On another, we arrived with 90 minutes left and found no food. When I asked if more would be made, the answer was no. Before we arrived, I called again and again for hours to ask about an early check-in, but nobody answered. This was a huge disappointment for our family of four, and we won't return.
