Branson Towers Hotel

The hotel was fine, fairly clean, and our family room was spacious. The staff I spoke with were very nice. But there was no hot water during our stay. I called the front desk and was told maintenance would come up soon, so I got everyone out of bed and decent, but nobody ever came. I eventually gave up on showering. Later I learned the hot water outage was already known, so I don’t know why they told me maintenance was on the way. I asked if there’d be compensation and was told they’d get back to me after speaking with management. They never did. I emailed twice afterward and got no reply. I’m very frustrated and won’t return. Also, none of the vending machines worked on the three floors I visited, so good luck finding a bottle of water.

Can I call it 4.5 stars? This was our second visit, and we love how spacious the rooms are and how large the pool house is. The hot tub could use more heat, and we missed the fine print about breakfast. Last time there was a great spread with lots of hot dishes and continental options. This visit, the only continental choices were things like packaged granola bars, which really disappointed us. I know it’s the off season, but the hotel seemed to have plenty of guests, so maybe they could still do hot breakfast on weekends. We might try somewhere else next time for a hotter hot tub, but it’s hard to beat the space, cleanliness, and things to do here.

The Christmas decorations were lovely, and we had fun taking pajama pictures by the fireplace. Everyone on staff was welcoming and friendly. A special thanks to the woman at the breakfast buffet Monday morning, who surprised me with a Christmas donut for my birthday weekend. It made the visit extra special. We got everything we expected and more!

We were really looking forward to the weekend getaway and chose this place because Travelocity advertised a fantastic breakfast buffet. At check-in, the clerk said it was seasonal and that there’d only be continental breakfast. That was a big disappointment.
