Ramada Suites Orlando Aiport

Being close to the airport was convenient, but it didn't make up for the state of our room. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling and around the tub and caulking, plus a strong musty smell throughout the bathroom. The room felt unsanitary and poorly maintained, and it affected our comfort and confidence in its cleanliness. I have photos showing the mold in the bathroom and on the ceiling. This property needs maintenance updates and more careful housekeeping inspections. No guest should have to stay in a room with visible mold, and I hope management takes this seriously.

The only things that stopped this from being a one star stay were the early check-in and a bed that seemed clean. The price and airport location drew me in, and the photos and reviews looked promising, but I wouldn't stay here again. The room smelled of mildew from the shower curtain and stale air from an AC filter that hadn't been cleaned in ages. The blackout curtain was stained, and its chain was broken, so it was barely usable. In the halls, the carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in a long time, and the place smelled like dirty socks. The elevator felt old and sketchy. Even the lobby furniture was stained, dirty, and old, and the welcome mat was frayed and grimy. The whole property felt dated, dirty, and badly maintained. I don't know who wrote the glowing reviews, but they felt disingenuous.

The location was quiet and close to the airport, and breakfast was good. Still, I didn't feel that the price matched the stay: my wife and I paid over $200 for two days, which didn't seem worth it. The rooms were okay, but had several cosmetic problems and a pretty odd layout. A lower nightly rate would suit this hotel better.

I would stay here again, even though getting picked up at the airport took over 45 minutes. I was in town for just one night during a long layover. The room was large, clean, and looked recently updated, with a coffee maker, microwave, and fridge. Breakfast had a good spread: sausage, scrambled eggs, potatoes, pancakes, waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee, tea, and toast. Check-in was quick and easy. The location was okay, with two restaurants and a liquor store on this side of the main road, and more places to eat across the highway. There was a lot of airport noise, but that's to be expected there.
