Hampton Inn Branson - Branson Hills

It’s in a residential area, but everything was only 15 to 20 minutes away. The staff were fantastic, friendly, and welcoming, and made us feel like family. My one downside was that by the last day, the breakfast bar didn’t have many gluten-free choices.

The play at SIGHT & SOUND was great, and the room was clean, but I’ll never return to this location. We’d driven eight hours to Branson and had no time to find somewhere else, so we stayed one night and left the next morning. I’ve been a Hilton member since 2012 and have never been treated with such disrespect. At the counter, a young woman with brown hair said they no longer took Cash App. I said okay, went to the car for my debit card, and returned. The older, short woman with blonde hair recognized the bank and said they couldn’t accept that card. I told her I’d used it every time I’d stayed at Hilton. She said, “That’s what all people like you say.” I’m a Black woman. She started yelling that she wasn’t losing her job because of me, threw up her hands, and walked away. I never raised my voice. She left me standing there. The other young woman called someone, who said the card was okay to use. By then I didn’t want to stay somewhere I felt stereotyped and mistreated. I hope the whole interaction is on video. I’ll contact Hilton’s corporate office about the yelling and that unprofessional comment.

Housekeeping was understanding and helpful when we asked for fresh towels and extra trash bags because we had a child with us. The room was very clean and tidy, and the shower was great. The pool was nice, with a depth from 3 to 5 feet. Breakfast was like other Hampton breakfasts, with potatoes, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, and scrambled eggs. Great hotel, and I’d recommend it.

We stayed three nights over four days at the Hampton Inn Branson- Branson Hills, and it was a fabulous trip. The hot breakfast was included and delicious, with a changing waffle batter option alongside the regular batter. The pool was open from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Staff were friendly, quick, and hospitable. It’s farther from the strip and Silver Dollar City, but the hotel exceeded expectations. I’d highly recommend it.
