Motel 6 Branson, MO

The location worked well, about six miles from Silver Dollar City, with McDonald’s around the corner since the promised breakfast wasn't really breakfast. They advertised free breakfast, but all we got was a basic pot of coffee. We booked a room with two queen beds, but each bed had only two poor quality pillows and no comforter to keep warm. Most TV channels weren't available either. The pictures didn't look like what we walked into. Staff were somewhat rude when we arrived and when I called beforehand to confirm. They asked about smoking and said parking was barely enough. At check-in, there was nowhere to park except by the front office, so we had to carry our bags and the children's bags to the building in back. We won't stay here again.

The rooms were cozy and clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We were also in a perfect spot for the nearby activities. I had a wonderful stay and can't wait to come back!

The room had a sour smell as soon as we entered, and it was nauseating. Every towel smelled of cigarette smoke, and the front office was so full of smoke it was hard to breathe. The desk clerk was rude too. Awful.

Check-in was easy thanks to the friendly staff, and the room was clean. At night, though, noise from the nearby highway made it difficult to sleep. It covered my basic needs for a quick stay, but next time I may look for somewhere quieter.
