The Ruby Inn staff made a stressful evening much easier. We couldn't find a nearby room, so we called, and the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful. They had space, held rooms for us, and remembered the special needs I'd mentioned on the phone. Getting checked in was simple. Our room was clean, with the usual small-hotel setup: a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. We had a great experience.

Our hosts couldn't have been more gracious, and the older hotel has a spotless, gorgeous feel with elegant little touches. The linens, pillows, toiletries, and in-room coffee were all there, including a grinder for fresh beans. The weather is what cut this visit short. We'll return for longer and spend more time enjoying the surroundings.

For a very reasonable price, this was a five-star stay. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and I swear the blanket might have been weighted.

I came looking for a nature getaway near the mountains and found it here. The rooms were clean, nicely kept, and upgraded, and the owners were very conscientious. There's a fridge, coffee maker, and microwave in the room, plus a large fenced yard that's great for dogs. Twin Lakes is a beautiful 15-minute drive away. They also sell hot chocolate and snacks for $1. It felt homey, and I loved my stay. I plan to come back.
