At least the Wi-Fi worked. The room was tiny and gross, reached by old rusty steps. The AC and other appliances were ancient, and the smoke smell was overpowering, like the place had never been aired out. I've stayed in smoking rooms before, but none came close to smelling this bad.

I booked a non-smoking honeymoon suite, but was given a regular smoking room because I didn't bring an extra deposit. The owners were rude and talked down to me. They demanded a deposit on top of the Hotels.com price, which I hadn't expected, and when I asked for a refund, they said it wasn't their problem. I was trying to surprise my pregnant wife with a night out just for her, and they completely wasted our time.

What a mess. He said it was because we smelled like weed, though we don't even smoke. Then he put me in a smoking room with bed bugs. Crazy.

Do not stay there. We booked through Expedia, checked in, and then the owner kicked us out, threatening to call the police for trespassing. Expedia couldn't help after we contacted them because the owner claimed we had stayed there, which wasn't true.

I've stayed here four times now, and for the price it's fantastic. Every visit, the room has been clean and orderly, and nothing has ever been broken. The front desk service is excellent.
