Holiday Inn Express Brunswick Harpers Ferry Area

I've booked with Holiday Inn Express for years because the experience is consistently great, and this visit was no different. After hours on the road, I needed somewhere to rest. Michelle helped me get a first-floor room at the last minute. The room was great, and free breakfast is always a bonus. If you need a hotel in Brunswick, give this one a look.

We stayed for about two months in December and January. The rooms were very clean and breakfast was great, but the front desk staff really made this the best place to stay. They were friendly and always made it feel like home. I never once went without hearing a good morning or a question about how my day was going.

The ladies at the front desk and the people serving breakfast made our stay a very nice experience. They were helpful and accommodating, including getting ice for us from the kitchen when it was a hassle to go upstairs. The breakfast buffet was great. We'd planned a day in Harper's Ferry and needed two rooms for the night. The options there weren't good, so we chose this Holiday Inn in Brunswick, and the location worked fine. I had requested first-floor rooms online, but the request hadn't come through on their end. We did manage to get one room downstairs. There wasn't an ice machine on the first floor, and the closest one was up the stairs. I used it the next time I needed ice rather than asking the desk again. The room was also quite dark, especially the closet, which had no light and was too dim to use. Another lamp or two would help. Since we like iced tea, we needed ice for that too, and the staff kindly got it for us again.

The staff were great, and they let us wash our bikes and keep them in our rooms. Breakfast was typical but perfectly fine, and the downhill ride in the morning was awesome. We'd been warned about the climb up from the C&O trail, but it was steeper than we expected. A hotel shuttle would have made the stay perfect.
