Quality Inn Airport Buffalo

The hotel’s one advantage is how close it is to the airport. The rooms are dated and dilapidated, and the hot water was on the chilly side. The front desk was the worst part. All three women I dealt with, including the duty manager, were unprofessional, cold, and unfriendly. They had no name tags and acted like guests were doing them a favor by staying. I’d tell self-respecting travelers to avoid it. There’s no quality at that Inn, it feels like a hostel, not a hotel. What a shame for the brand. Choice should revoke the operator’s license, fire the front desk staff, rebrand the place, and teach proper front desk operations. If I could give service a quarter star, I would.

I’d prebooked airport parking and had to stay overnight because of the weather. The room cost $134 and felt overpriced for how cold, dirty, and run down it was. The walls and carpet were dirty, wallpaper was peeling, and the heating unit was coming out of the wall. A cold draft kept coming in, and turning the heat up didn’t help. Lamps were broken and the fire detector had been removed. The place was terribly maintained.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. I was traveling alone and didn’t feel safe because my room’s lock was broken and there was a lot of traffic on the first floor through the night. The room was run down, with broken shower tiles, broken light switches, and generally worn amenities. Thankfully, the beds did look clean.

For a few hours before a flight out of Buffalo airport, this place covers what you need without costing a fortune. The bed was comfortable, everything was very clean, and there’s an airport shuttle. McDonalds is just across the lot for coffee. Renovations were underway when I stayed, so there wasn’t any complimentary breakfast.
