Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport

The rooms were nice and clean, but the property needs a serious makeover. Finding the elevator was confusing, restaurant signs were awful, and tracking down a cup of coffee in the morning was impossible. The in-room coffee was drinkable, but they didn't refresh it for the next morning. All the signs were photocopied sheets of paper and looked trashy. I couldn't believe the state of the place. I was surprised to find the restaurant and bar closed during the day. I sat down and waited for service, but no one came or greeted me to say it was closed. The workers seemed to be handling the grab-and-go area. They eventually said I could order something to go, so I got a cheeseburger. The food was a 4/10. Maybe they were just understaffed.

We picked this hotel for a few nights because it was a convenient midpoint between meetings in San Mateo and SF. The huge atrium makes a strong impression when you walk in, and our spacious room was very clean and felt fresh. The hotel is beautiful, the bathrooms seem recently renovated, and the whole stay felt high-end. Staff were nice and professional, and the huge parking garage meant we never had to worry about finding a space. The main downside showed up on the bill. Resort fees were steep, and daily parking was on the expensive side, so keep that in mind when budgeting.

We loved staying here as a family with our child. It's easy to reach right by the airport, which was handy after a long flight. Our room was huge, clean, and comfortable, with plenty of room for the kids to relax. Everything felt new and well cared for, and surprisingly, we didn't hear any planes. Check-in was quick, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It made flying in or out of San Francisco feel stress-free. We'll definitely stay here again.

The bed was firm and comfy, and the room had a great view. I did miss being able to look out over the bay while eating, since the dining area didn't seem to have a view. The area is somewhat walkable, with a sushi restaurant, coffee shop, pharmacy, and paved Bay Trail nearby. The airport shuttle was convenient, the on-site restaurant had good choices, and the room had a good desk and workspace. Very pleased.
