Best Western Post Oak Inn

The front desk women were incredibly welcoming, with service that felt closer to the Savoy than a two- or three-star place. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, and the water pressure was excellent. They also have two 9.6 kWh Tesla chargers, which is handy for EV drivers. This is easily the best Best Western I've stayed at, and I've stayed at quite a few. I'll definitely return.

Breakfast was fresh and very good, with a nice hot selection and as much as you wanted. Someone serves it rather than it being self-serve. Joe and Mary Lea, I think, were on the morning shift when I checked out. They were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the rest of the staff were nice too. My one gripe is there's no coffee maker in the room, though you can get coffee in the lobby and bring it back.

Every staff member I met was friendly and helpful, and a few went out of their way for us. The room suited our needs well, with clean surroundings and comfy beds. I really liked breakfast, especially the Texas-shaped waffles. The man making and serving it was great, and even makes his own salsa. I don't usually put salsa on eggs, but since he made it himself I gave it a try, and it was excellent.

I only stayed one night, but everyone at the front desk was so sweet. Rick, the maintenance man and on-site chef, was a joy to talk to. The room was clean and updated, and breakfast was included, delicious, and homemade, with real eggs instead of powdered ones. I'd happily stay again if I'm in the area.
