The Manner In The Unbound Collection By Hyatt

I’ve stayed at The Manner several times, and every visit has been great. It manages to feel polished but genuinely warm, which is unusual in NYC. I’m looking forward to coming back next week. The Apartment is one of my favorite hotel spaces anywhere. Michi is always welcoming and fun to talk to, and gives amazing recommendations around the city. Being there feels like your very stylish, hospitable friend is hosting you in New York. One small bit of feedback: I liked the atmosphere better before the new uniforms. Staff could show more of their own style and personality in what they wore, which helped make the place feel personal and unique. Everyone is already so stylish and creative that, in my opinion, uniforms weren’t needed. It’s not a big deal, but I think that individuality added something to the vibe.

The Manor is a peaceful oasis amid the bustle of Delhi. I stayed there three times during a recent trip to India and would choose it again on future visits. The grounds bring together modern architecture and traditional gardens, with three restaurants on site. The rooms are large, very clean, and well appointed. Staff were always helpful, including when I arrived after midnight for a late check-in. My daughter and I enjoyed walking around Friends colony, a quiet, secluded neighborhood. On the grounds there’s a small French cafe for breakfast or lunch, a very nice Italian restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and a high-end Asian fusion restaurant open for dinner. Each time we stayed, the owner, Mr. Manmohan Singh, greeted us and checked that we had everything we needed. I highly recommend The Manor.

The bed and shower were both great, and everyone I dealt with was excellent. I was only there for one night. My floor stayed clear of street noise, but doors slamming shut as other guests entered their rooms were incredibly loud. Without that, this would have been a five-star stay.

The crew really stood out, especially Tre and Alex, who gave the place such attentive service. The room was thoughtfully equipped, and I loved the heavenly scent of the toiletries. I've stayed at several places in New York, and The Manner is my favorite :)
