Toad Hall Manor

My first B & B stay was amazing. The room, breakfast, and whole atmosphere were over the top, and Glenn and Jane were accommodating and easy to talk with. They knew so much about Butte's history and even helped us get amazing Pasty's from Uptown Cafe with Guy to take home and reheat, after we couldn't dine with them the night before. The World Museum of Mining was amazing too, though we didn't get through all of it or take the underground tour. I'd give this place 10 stars. We'll be back!

The hosts were so warm and welcoming, and their cooking was scrumptious. Everything about the accommodations was outstanding, with magnificent grounds and spectacular views. You can see how much thought and detail went into the home. We can't say enough good things about this B&B, and we'd highly recommend it to anyone traveling through Butte Montana. Thank you so much!

I wanted to move in by the end of our stay. Toad Hall Manor is a spectacular place, and Glenn and Jane are among the nicest people I've met. They're warm, accommodating, and special, and I can't recommend this B&B enough. Glenn may start by asking, “Are you salubrious?” If you are, meaning you enjoy an afternoon cocktail, he'll gladly treat you to what you'd like. The house is an 11,000 sq. ft. brick mansion on a golf course, with beautiful mountains in view. There's a three-car garage upstairs and a two-car garage down the lower driveway. If you ask nicely, Glenn may show you his Jaguar and Thunderbird, both classic cars. We stayed in a downstairs room, where guests share a separate living area with a nice TV and plenty of room to relax. Glenn also suggested a great guide, Mark from Butte Urban Safari Tours (BUST). He takes you around Butte in the back of his golf cart and talks about the architecture and history, and even knows where the ghosts hang out. I loved seeing the old mining apparatus and Montana Tech up in the hills. Glenn also gives good suggestions for local restaurants and places to go. I loved learning about Butte and enjoyed Glenn and Jane's company so much. Seven stars!

We stayed one night in September and had a great time at Manor Hall. The room was a little small, but the terrace and shared living room made up for it. The house is lovely, and Sonia was a great host who made us a wonderful breakfast in the morning.
