Quality Inn & Suites Caldwell

The room was clean and the person at check-in was great. In the morning, staff were trying to manage the weak breakfast while hauling linens and laundry. The food was the lamest I've seen. There was gravy but no meat, cold nasty scrambled eggs, barely warm biscuits, a waffle maker, a few pieces of bread, and a few bagels. This isn't supposed to be a bottom-of-the-barrel hotel, and I've had better food service at lower-rated places.

The lobby was clean and the front desk agent was kind and helpful, but the bathroom in my second room was disturbing. The tub was filthy, so I used my own dish soap to clean it before showering. The shower walls were still gross, and I kept my slides on. Long black hair was all over the tub, curtain, sink, and floor, and the back of the toilet was gross. The mattresses were really dirty, though the beds were comfortable. My first room was nice and clean, but the walls were thin enough that I could hear the man next door's whole conversation even with the TV on. The second room wasn't as good. I liked the different lighting options and the air conditioning worked great. I've stayed in worse places, but that bathroom is why I can only give three stars. The stay was okay overall.

Friendly staff, a clean room, and a great location. They also offer affordable weekly rates for workers.

Really nice place to sleep, super quiet. It's so quiet you can hear a pen drop, lol.
