My feet were black after I walked barefoot on the dirty floor. There was mold in the shower, and something that looked like rust was dripping from the leaking ceiling onto the floor. Absolutely never staying here again. I don’t recommend this location.

Book ahead, because it sells out quickly. When Quality Inn was unexpectedly booked, I paid $250.00 for one night. Any given night, hotels in that area are $225 or more, and this place sells out fast. I’d think they could open more rooms at a decent rate. The prices on their Google profile didn’t match what they had at the desk.

The woman at the front desk was extremely sweet and apologized, though it wasn’t her fault. Still, I strongly advise against booking here. As soon as I entered, I saw a large area of mold along the baseboard beside the bed, extending down the side of the bed frame. It wasn’t something housekeeping could have missed. We left right away. I can’t say what the rest of the room was like because I didn’t look any further.

I left my watch in the room at The Quality Inn in Calera on Hwy 304, and Nouman Malik has been absolutely great about getting it back to me. We stayed over the weekend, and it was a very good stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

The room and property were clean, and although it’s close to the interstate, it was still quiet. There were plenty of restaurants nearby. We stopped here on the way to southern Florida and it was better than we expected.
