InterContinental San Antonio Riverwalk by IHG

The meeting spaces worked well for my conference, clean, comfortable, and organized by the staff. My room was spotless, modern, very comfortable, and had great views, with thoughtful touches throughout. The fitness center was well equipped, the onsite dining options were great, and the communal spaces were beautiful. The Riverwalk was easy to reach too. I was blown away by the whole stay at the InterContinental San Antonio Riverwalk. From check-in to checkout, everyone made me feel welcome and looked after. Front desk, housekeeping, event staff, and everyone else I met were warm, attentive, and eager to help. All the staff were amazing, with special thanks to Zhryryhla, Cristina, Emily, Alex, Andy, Aileen and Kevin. The hotel clearly cares about customer experience. It exceeded my expectations, and I'll choose it again on future trips, for work or leisure.

You do need to use $25 a day, but I honestly like it because the food and beverage options are very good. Valet parking is available if you want it, and they bring your car promptly. Slippers are available too. The decor is superb, the staff pleasant and quick, and housekeeping went above and beyond while tidying our room. I've stayed in hotels around the world, but this one left me in awe. Thank you, InterContinental.

My only suggestion is to make a microwave available on request. The room had a refrigerator, and I had takeaway food to heat, but when I asked how to warm it up, staff said they couldn't help. Otherwise, a beautiful hotel with lovely rooms and views, and wonderful, accommodating staff. I'll definitely make it my go-to when I travel to San Antonio, and I'd recommend it.

The hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with rooms and common areas that felt well maintained and thoughtfully run. Everyone I encountered was professional, courteous, and accommodating. As a frequent traveler, I know one person's service can define a hotel stay. For me, that was Jonathan at the lobby bar. I had an unusual request because of strict dietary needs, and he handled it with real care, sensitivity, and professionalism. He went well beyond what I expected, accommodating me and making me comfortable enough to come back the next night and ask again. I'm grateful both for what he did and how he did it. With that level of care, this was easily a five-star stay, and I'd gladly return.
