At the Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites in Calhoun, I found everything clean and comfortable, and well worth the price. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional throughout. Management clearly keeps the place in great shape. I recommend Marriott properties, and this one is a great choice for anyone visiting the area.

We were impressed by the breakfast spread: biscuits and gravy, waffles, an oatmeal bar, sausage, yogurt, fruit, scrambled eggs, and more. The staff were courteous, and both the rooms and lobby were clean and well designed.

Around midnight, I realized the AC in both connecting rooms had no power. When I called the front desk, they could only offer extra blankets. Earlier, one room's toilet had been blocked. The employee said he was the only one working that night, so I had to clear it myself with a plunger. The next day I asked the manager, Kelly, for some reimbursement for the trouble. She said she'd call me back, but I still haven't heard from her since last week. This was an extremely disappointing stay. I won't return or recommend the hotel.

The rooms are clean and the staff are wonderful. Breakfast is good, but it should be put out earlier. People working here from out of town often start around the time breakfast becomes available.

For an overnight stop, it was perfect. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and everyone was super friendly.
