Quality Inn Cambridge

I travel for work, and this was the worst hotel stay I've ever had. The floor was so filthy and uneven that I wiped it down with a towel before I felt safe taking off my tennis shoes. At check-in, I was told I could get a refund if I left early. The next morning, when I tried to get out of the hellhole, the man at the desk said no refund. Beware.

Breakfast was unpleasant, with ants on the serving utensils and spoon rests, and the tea was overflowing. Staff said the ants were there because of syrup and that the tea was full because people had been eating. The room was very basic, with no comfortable chairs for relaxing. The accessible bathroom had no door, leaving it open to the room and windows. I also had to wait at the desk for a while, even after calling for service.

I arrived to a wonderfully kind, warm, and knowledgeable woman at the front desk. This was my third visit, and I plan to come back again. The room was clean, the bathroom huge, and getting to food was easy. I could park right outside my door.

Breakfast only runs from 6 to 9 a.m., which is rough on Sundays if you want to sleep in and aren't used to getting up early. I suggested extending it until 11. They're beginning to remodel, which should improve the place.
