The Windsor Inn

There were free snacks and coffee all day, the location was great, and the staff were great too. The room was big and comfortable. Awesome place and great value. Strongly recommend!

Our stay had a few real highlights: the host was kind, the location near MIT was convenient, and the complimentary snacks were appreciated. But at around $300 per night, we’d expected more after seeing the positive reviews. The room was small, with old-looking furniture and carpet that seemed dirty. Noise carried constantly whenever people walked around the house. The hair dryer was broken, the air conditioner ran noisily through the night, and daily room cleaning wasn’t included for free. We shortened our stay and moved out on the second day. The host kindly agreed to the change without charging extra. We later found another hotel at a slightly lower price with a much better room, Cambria Hotel Boston Somerville, and were finally able to start enjoying our trip in the city.

We stayed at Windsor Inn for 10 days and absolutely loved it. It felt like a home, with a nice host and a perfect location. Our room was clean, spacious, had a private restroom, and came with everything a traveler needs. Mr. Marc was always around and ready to help, making the place feel like a chance to experience staying at home, not just somewhere to sleep. Windsor Inn is a hidden gem, and I’ll definitely stay there next time we visit Cambridge MA. Highly recommended!

The dumpling class was a really enjoyable team event, and the teaching was great. We used the inn's kitchen and dining area, with a separate room for the activity. Everything was clean and well cared for. Parking in this part of Cambridge can be tricky, and the meters only allow two hours for a two-and-a-half-hour class. There are a few spaces in the inn's driveway, though, and nobody had trouble finding somewhere to park. I'd highly recommend the experience.
