The hall cameras helped me feel secure, though the room doors could be sturdier and seemed easy to force open. The hotel itself was very clean, and check-in was much easier than at other places. I came for a quiet night outside DC and would rate that stay 10/10.

My family member and her two young children ended up sleeping in their car, and may have to do so again tonight, because we had limited funds and the hotel refused to refund a booking error. I had booked a room for her while she was escaping domestic violence. Hotels.com changed the booking date in the app, and I noticed immediately and had them call the hotel to ask for a date change. Even after I explained the situation to the manager, they wouldn’t change the date or return the money. It was Hotels.com’s mistake, but the manager was cruel about it. Shame on them.

We’d happily stay here again. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable, and we really liked the breakfast. It changed from day to day, with things like eggs, omelettes, sausage patties, biscuits and gravy, pastries, yogurt, waffles, and fruit. Weekday breakfast runs from 6 to 9:30, and weekends from 7 to 10:30. We were in town for three nights touring DC. The Metro is under a mile away, and the hotel has an on-demand shuttle during normal hours.

Friendly staff, decent breakfast with plenty of options, and lots of parking. The food wasn’t anything special, but it was fine. Our room was very clean, and both the room and bed were comfortable. The hotel is in a good spot about a mile from the Metro, with a shuttle available.
