Carraway Guest House has a cozy charm that a hotel can't match, and Kathy and Marc are wonderful hosts. The rooms are nicely furnished, decorated, and consistently tidy. I travel to Columbus for work often and have stayed multiple times in each of the three rooms, so I can say they're always clean. It's a hidden gem, and I highly recommend it.

Kathy and Marc are attentive hosts and are there to answer questions or help with anything you need. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped, and the location in charming Canal Winchester makes it easy to walk everywhere. We had a fantastic stay and will be back. I highly recommend Carraway Guest House.

For the price, the value is more than fair, especially given how well kept the rooms are. They have a vintage look that fits the building's history and namesake, plus window AC and space heaters for individual comfort. The place is compact but does a lot well: it's a short way from Canal Winchester's business area and an easy drive into Columbus. If more places like this existed, hotels would have to make more of an effort.

Canal Winchester has plenty of parks if you want to get out for a hike, and lots of nearby coffee shops and restaurants are an easy walk away. For more choices, you can drive a little farther. This little B&B is right in the heart of town, great for a couple or a quick Columbus visit. The room was clean with fresh sheets, and they left snacks. I enjoyed it just as much as on my last stay.

The Daisy Buchanan room at Carraway Guest House was cozy, clean, and comfortable for my two-night weekend visit with friends in Groveport. I liked the home-like feel, and the fall scenery in Central Ohio was gorgeous. It felt very safe. When I arrived, there was a welcome note with my name and a thoughtful gift bag with water and snacks. The bedroom is just off the foyer, so carrying my bags in was easy. There was plenty of parking, and the guesthouse sits in the middle of Historic Canal Winchester. Keyless entry and good lighting made coming in simple. The host replied quickly, and since their home is behind the guesthouse, they're nearby if anything comes up. Just keep in mind the furnishings aren't new or hotel-modern. If you want a cozy home away from home, this is the place. I can't recommend it enough and will definitely return.
