The breakfast alone would bring me back. We had eggs, the omelette of the day, waffles and bacon, plus warm chocolate chip walnut bread and a roasted pear with dried apricot and cardamom sauce. Everything was delicious. I can't promise those exact choices will be on the menu when you visit, but I'm sure breakfast will be good. The room we stayed overnight in was perfect, and the tub was a nice extra. The Inn also has rooms for different needs, and it made a perfect getaway for us.

Adele and Meghan were so kind, and breakfast was delicious each morning. We had a great weekend here. Our room was clean and lovely, with cute decor and a jacuzzi tub. If we're back in the area, we'll stay here again.

The Clement room had a very comfortable bed, and the breakfasts were superb, from the food and presentation to the top-notch service. Adele and Megan were excellent hosts, and we'd happily return. The location was also convenient for exploring everything in the Finger Lakes region.

The room was clean and breakfast was delicious. We appreciated how helpful the late check-in instructions were, too. My wife and I had a wonderful time at the Inn, and you can tell the place is cared for and well loved.

Breakfast was a highlight of our stay: Adele served fresh, flavorful meals, and she's a wonderful chef and baker. Megan was kind, attentive, and kept everything spotless. Our suite felt cozy and luxurious, with tasteful, comfortable bedding and decor, a pristine bathroom, strong water pressure, and lovely scented soaps. The historic 1840 Victorian home is beautifully maintained, with green grounds, bright flower beds, and private, secure parking. We also liked how close 1840 Inn on the Main is to Canandaigua Lake, downtown shops and restaurants, and wineries. The care and charm were clear from the moment we arrived. For a peaceful, upscale, authentic Finger Lakes bed and breakfast, this is a great choice. I highly recommend 1840 Inn on the Main for its comfort, charm, and food.
