Homewood Suites by Hilton Boston/Canton, MA

My boyfriend and I keep coming back for a night away. We love sleeping in the comfy bed, swimming, warming up in the hot tub, then having the included breakfast and still getting a nap before noon checkout. We never want to leave. The kitchenette is cute and just right, and we joke about living here, though the monthly rate is a little beyond our budget 😂. It costs a bit more than other Hilton hotels nearby, but for us it's worth it. There's streaming on the TV, and the studio room's swivel TV turns easily from the couch toward the bed. The rooms' layout and colors are lovely. There's also a little gym, plenty of parking, a pool, a hot tub, free continental breakfast, and really nice staff. The beds are so comfortable. Sorry I didn't get a picture of the bathroom or kitchen, my bad.

Ella in the kitchen makes the place welcoming, and Korry and Jamie are excellent, always so hospitable. Most of the staff are great, and my stay was good as usual. Barry is the one exception. I'm not sure if he's prejudiced or if it's just my family, but a few other people of color have told me they feel the same way about him. He isn't very welcoming. Barry, please work on your hospitality and customer service.

We were here for over two months, and the people made it feel like home. So many went out of their way to help, and I'm sure I'll miss someone or have misspelled a name. David brought my daughter a birthday balloon, and Korry was always chatting and bonding with her. Shawn helped with things like fixing our door and pouring a beer from the machine. Tommie kept checking in and keeping everything running smoothly. Ella brought fresh cookies for social hour, while Maria, Rossa, and the cleaning staff cleaned daily and even organized our things beyond their duties. Christian cheerfully cleaned up our kids' many breakfast spills. Ramon gave us the first tour, and Jamie and Gary tracked down carts and deliveries when we needed them. The location was great, the rooms spacious, and the pool and amenities fantastic. We're so grateful to everyone for a wonderful stay and can't thank them enough.

I left an AirPod earbud in the room and noticed only that afternoon, after checking out. Calling the hotel got me nowhere: the front desk said only the housekeeping manager could help, transferred me, and I left a message with no reply. When I went back, the manager was off, and the desk still couldn't help. Find My Devices showed the earbud at the hotel, but they wouldn't let us go near our old room or check with the current guest. They said the only option was to call again. Housekeeping apparently doesn't have to report lost items, so they only find out if a guest calls. The resistance and unwillingness to help were beyond belief. Worst service ever.
