Red Roof Inn Canton, TX

The room was okay, though the front desk came across a bit cold. After checkout, I got a call saying I’d be charged an extra $5 loyalty fee because I’d paid with points. Red Roof doesn’t charge for points, so don’t authorize that fee. I’d keep an eye on your card or bank activity afterward. I won’t be returning.

The price was great, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had really hot water with strong pressure. There’s lots of parking, with Dennys right next door and a few other places to eat nearby. From the front desk service to the room, everything was great. I have nothing negative to say, and I’ll stay here again next time I’m passing through. Thanks for making my stay so nice.

There’s room to park trucks, and the price was decent. The rooms were spacious, the bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows, and the bathroom was spotless. The ice machine wasn’t working, though, and the kitchen was out of order, so there was no breakfast.

The bed was clean and comfortable, and the AC kept the room cold. But the bathroom was so bad that those positives couldn’t make up for it. Its floor looked like it hadn’t been cleaned, so we used towels to make paths across it. The paint job was awful, with everything painted over and peeling. The newer flooring didn’t look recently cleaned either. Watch out for the bed frame, too. It’s a shin buster. There’s no pool, despite what the pictures suggest, and the rooms don’t look like the photos. This used to be Super 8 before becoming Red Roof Inn. We thought we’d found a good deal for trade days weekend, but didn’t get what we’d paid for. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, and we won’t be back.
