We stayed the night planning to check out first thing, but I woke up with bites on my legs. I was traveling with elderly people who couldn’t reach the room using their walker, so this place isn’t handicapped accessible. At checkout, no staff were available; a sign said they’d return at 11:00, the checkout time. When we came back to cancel our stay, the staff were immediately rude. There was also a cat in the office, despite a sign saying no animals are allowed.

A really cool place to stay, and the prices are affordable. The rooms were clean, though you can see some wear. In my experience, the service was reliable and very good!

The traffic noise was what kept me awake. The Motel sits between two roads, so you hear the cars, and I’m used to sleeping with a fan on, which might have helped. Still, for the price I was satisfied and would recommend giving it a try. It’s a charming little place, the room was medium-sized, and the bed was comfortable. There was a great restaurant across the road, and the area itself was adorable. It reminded me of staying at Grandma’s house.

I was here for six days, and it was one of my best hotel or motel stays.

I ended up staying with friends after car trouble on my drive from Colorado to Texas, so I couldn’t stay here. Before that, I tried calling about four times along the way because I couldn’t figure out how to cancel, but nobody answered. Now they’ve charged me $50 that I need for the trip, since I don’t have extra funds. I need that money back.
