Radisson Resort at the Port

We’ve made memories with other cruise families here until 1 a.m., and they never asked us to leave the pool area. The rooms are super nice and clean, and the staff were very accommodating. I’ve stayed here three years in a row and plan to come back next year. When I’m cruising, this is the only hotel I’ll stay at.

We saw a rocket take off, and there was a Star trek pre-cruise party at the main hotel. It was an okay place, though the route through the hotel maze to our room was a pain. The sheets were rough, like sandpaper, and morning coffee costs about $4.00. There was no service when we arrived. They had to find us a cart, and nobody helped push it through the maze to our room. We got no help getting it out when we left either. The bell hop only offered when I was already crossing the main road outside the hotel with the luggage cart to our ride. Sorry, I didn’t tip him for ten feet of help. Nope, no tip was happening. 😂

We only stayed one night, arriving around 3 p.m., but I’d recommend it for the convenience of getting to the port early and on time. They offer an easy shuttle to the port, though it costs extra, I think. The pools, tiki lounge, and food seem ideal if you’re traveling with children. We had a great time, even in that short stay.

The rooms were large, clean, and excellent, and the pool was great. Cruise transport and car storage were excellent too. The food was only just okay: we paid $29 for a steak we couldn’t cut with a steak knife or chew. The BLT was good, and the drinks were decent and cold. For good calzones, pizza, and dessert with incredible service, go to the hidden pizza spot next door on the right as you leave the front door.
