The staff and hotel are amazing. This was the first place we ever spent a weekend away together, and we love it so much that I brought my fiancée back to Cape May this weekend to propose. She was thrilled when we arrived. They even helped arrange two dozen roses in the room and offered to do anything else they could. We’ll always cherish this place and celebrate here. You’ve got guests for life with us and our family. Thank you!

My friends just celebrated her wedding at the hotel, and it was a special occasion. The place is close to the beach, there was live music, and the service was great. We were happy to be there.

Staying at the Chalfonte felt like getting a real sense of the town’s history. We had a corner suite on Howard St with a private balcony above the porch, where live music played every night. It’s a great spot if you’re okay with noise late into the night, since the screen door right beside the room opens onto the balcony. The Magnolia Room had very good food for an in-house restaurant, and charging meals to the room was super convenient. The servers worked hard, though the place seemed understaffed. Front desk service was mixed. Some people seemed apathetic or bothered, while others were very helpful.

Joey was so accommodating, and the service was excellent. We had a lovely last-minute stay in a quiet, very clean room. The nostalgic feel and the porches, with their quaint Victorian-era atmosphere, made it easy to reminisce. Thanks for a wonderful time!

Our stay in the Southern Quarters was just right for a quick trip. The room was spotless, the bed was huge, and check-in took no time. Such a cute place. I’d happily come back and recommend it.
