Staybridge Suites Mt. Juliet - Nashville Area by IHG

We had a quiet stay in a well-kept place, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was included with plenty of choices, and pets are welcome too. Our room had a full kitchen, a breakfast bar, a large sofa in the living room, and a separate bedroom behind a door. There are plenty of nearby shops and places to eat. We'll definitely stay again when we're in town visiting family.

The free laundry was a nice perk, as long as you bring your own soap and softener. You can also get packages sent there if you let the front desk know ahead of time. IHG Platinum members and up can get upgraded to a two-bedroom suite, which gives the whole family room to come along. The Monday through Wednesday social hour has a light bite, two beers on tap, and an unlocked Coke-branded soda fountain. Breakfast is decent: there's a hot egg dish, a hot protein, sometimes potatoes, two waffle irons, store-bought bagels, fountain juices, and yogurt with diced fruit. The oatmeal, though, is a disgrace. In the king suites, the living room and bedroom are divided by double French doors, so one person can work while the other sleeps. The kitchen has a full-size fridge, two-burner cooktop, microwave, sink, and toaster. Furniture feels pretty basic, but the bed is wonderfully comfortable. Bathrooms are cramped but usable, and shower pressure varies by room. I'd call it a solid 3.5-star hotel among the nearby IHG options.

We came for the Pow Wow at Longhunter State Park, Oct 17-19, 2025. The price was much better than nearby places offering less, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hot and had a good variety. The location off the I-40 Mt Juliet exit was handy, with a gas station next door, Target across the road, and lots of stores and restaurants a short drive away. Our room had a full kitchen with utensils, coffee maker, garbage disposal, dishwasher, microwave, double burners, and full refrigerator. There was also a desk, couch with pullout bed, cable TV, dresser, bed, and closet. The toilet and tub/shower were in a separate room from the bathroom sink and counter. They had a laundry room, exercise room, and two working outdoor gas grills. The outdoor pool was closed, which wasn't unusual for the season between Memorial Day and Labor Day. The bed needs a new mattress, and we found live roaches in the bathroom, which is a constant battle for hotels. We'd consider staying again if the rate remained competitive.

We had a one-bedroom suite on both visits. The rooms are nice, but the walls are so thin that I could hear the man next door coughing during our earlier stay. This weekend, I could hear the couple beside us having sex, including their squeaky bed. I'm a light sleeper, so I ended up on the couch. If I'd realized this was the same hotel with the thin-wall problem, I would've asked my husband to book somewhere else. I don't appreciate having to sleep on a couch because of that, and we won't return. The heat also stopped working, and maintenance couldn't fix it. They had no more rooms our size, so they offered a space heater. We'll see how tonight goes, hopefully it'll be okay. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the hotel.
