The Mason Cottage

At the Mason Cottage, they handled both my wife’s and my dietary restrictions beautifully, and the food was amazing. They need to put out a cookbook. We stayed in the Davis Suite, which was clean and comfortable, and the jacuzzi tub was just right at the end of the day. It’s a perfect location, a few blocks from the beach and under a 10 minute walk to shopping. If you’re lucky, you may find free street parking on the same street as the inn. We’d definitely stay again.

The house is charming, the staff were incredible, and the food was delicious. We loved chatting with them about the house and their lives. The care in the details is hard to miss, even the light switch cover plates had wallpaper. It’s an easy walk to downtown and the boardwalk. There’s no parking, as the website says, but depending on the season, we found street parking easily enough. After we left, they contacted us about something we’d forgotten in the room and offered to mail it back. One of our favorite B&Bs.

We spent a weekend at the Mason Cottage B&B for my husband’s birthday, and it was perfect. Rochelle and Eric were among the kindest people we’ve met and took such good care of us. The cozy, quaint room and shared spaces were lovely, and breakfast was amazing. The location made getting around all weekend easy. We highly recommend staying here.

The breakfast was a proper sit-down meal, and borrowing the beach cruisers was a fun bonus. There’s lovely art and antiques throughout, quality linens, and robes guests can use for free. The staff were wonderful, and even with lots of rooms occupied it stayed quiet. The decor is gorgeous, and you can walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. A stay I’ll remember.
