Rodeway Inn

We were so glad we stayed here after a 12-hour drive. The bed and sheets were amazing, the blanket was super soft, and the room was much nicer than I expected. It was very clean and quiet, so we slept great. Check-in was quick even after midnight, and the woman at the desk was kind and helpful. The hotel is just off the highway with gas stations nearby. Breakfast was continental, with bagels, muffins, yogurt, and fruit, enough to tide us over until lunch. A very nice place, and I’d gladly recommend it. Thanks for a great stay!

The room was pleasant, and the comfortable bed and in-room jacuzzi tub made for a relaxing evening. We did see quite a few dead elder bugs, but they weren’t bed bugs. The towels didn’t seem very clean, though. Rooms that have been empty for a while could use freshening up.

Breakfast was included and, while it wasn’t gourmet, there was enough to fill you up. You do have to ask for items to be restocked since staff don’t seem to check. Most of the staff were kind and friendly, though I didn’t feel welcomed when I first arrived. The building is a bit dated, but our room was clean, the beds were good, and they didn’t smell. The rooms had an odor, but I think most hotels do, and a little Lysol would take care of it.

For the low price we paid, the room was a pleasant surprise. It was very clean, with carpet that looked brand new, a comfortable bed, nice pillows, and a nicely arranged interior. There was lots of parking, and the staff were welcoming. Iron Mountain Hot Springs and the Gondola/Cave attractions are within a five-minute drive. We’d definitely recommend it if you want a clean hotel on a budget.
