Rodeway Inn & Suites Carrollton

Good value and a great location. Long-term residents kept asking us for rides here and there.

They’re rude and disrespectful, there are bugs, and when we asked for things, they told us we’d have to get our own. They also try to come into your room while you’re asleep.

A family runs this hotel, and they were kind and professional with me. I had some health issues and they took care of me. It’s not the Marriott, but my room was very clean and I had no problems while I was there. Thank you to the owners and workers for your kindness and help. This will be my hotel when I come to town again. I don’t understand all the negative reviews, but I guess you can’t please everybody. Thanks so much to the hotel staff.

The evening staff were genuinely sweet and helpful, so maybe things would have gone better if we'd gotten a non-smoking room. Instead, they put me and my one-year-old in a smoking room and said they'd move us the next day. When I came back to switch rooms, the front desk staff gave me attitude and said we couldn't move. The room smelled like mold and smoke so badly that we coughed all night. There was garbage across the room and under the bed, plus a huge sticky patch by the door. The room itself was awful and the staff were rude. After spending the day trying to sort it out, we got a refund for the rest of the stay, but they still charged us for the second night. It seems hit or miss.
