I left with my family because every room we were shown reeked of chemicals, but they still charged the full $120 I paid through Booking.com and now refuse to refund it. The smell wasn’t just strong, it burned my nostrils within minutes, and my kids started coughing. It felt like pesticide had been sprayed and the room sealed up. The staff confirmed the odor. At check-in, the reception area already smelled so strongly of Pine-Sol it was almost suffocating. We rang the desk bell for over 10 minutes before anyone came, with no apology or acknowledgment of the wait. This was one of the worst lodging experiences of my life. It’s a health and safety concern if cleaning causes breathing irritation. Avoid this place unless you want to pay to breathe pesticide.

Amber' at the front desk was the best part of my cozy weekend stay. She was kind, knew her stuff, gave me great food recommendations and made me feel welcome. Check-in was the smoothest and quickest I’ve ever had at a hotel. Thanks for the great service. I’ll be back next time I’m in town.

Four days later, I got an email saying they would charge me an $84.79 no-show fee, even though I’d gone to check in with my girlfriend for the one night we’d booked before driving back to California the next morning. The front desk person was very friendly, but had to call the manager, Prince. After about 15 minutes, Prince demanded to be put on speaker, then yelled at both of us and told us to leave the property. We asked why, and he shouted, “WE BELIEVE YOU COMMITED FRAUD AGAINST OUR COMPANY.” I was confused, especially since I’d paid cash the last time I was there. He then yelled that we were DNR (Do Not Rent), were trespassed, and had to leave. We did. The service was horrible. I don’t recommend this place at all, it’s a waste of money and time.

The rooms were clean and fairly priced, and the low toilet and low countertop were manageable. They could use updating.
