Rodeway Inn Carson - Los Angeles South

Check-in went fine, and the noise from the bar next door was manageable. But less than an hour after lying down, I started getting bitten. I’m covered in itchy bites after spending under an hour in that bed, so I ended up sleeping in my truck in the parking lot. The staff and owner say it was something else and that they don’t have bedbugs, but I have a photo and the bites. Don’t waste your money, stay somewhere else.

Everything was fine. I forgot to ask for a receipt, and my company needs one for my reservation. Could you share an email address so I can write to you and send me a booking receipt or ticket?

The room was dingy and not a pleasant stay. There was blood, not just a stain, on a towel hanging in the bathroom, and the bedding had marks all over it. The shower curtain was moldy, and there was dirt and debris in the room corners. Basics were missing too: not enough towels, only one key card for four people when I expected two, no shampoo or conditioner, no ice buckets, and broken vending machines. The desk chair was badly worn and covered in white paint. What really bothered me was the listing and Google saying there was free continental breakfast. There wasn’t, and the host seemed surprised I asked. I’ve stayed in cheap hotels while passing through or before a cruise the next afternoon, but at this price, the place didn’t even cover the basics.

We had a great stay. The employees were friendly and accommodating, the room was nicely decorated and very clean, and the property felt safe and quiet. I’ll definitely return.
